Applicants must be legal residents of Somaliland, aged between 18 and 35 years old, and operating an enterprise or registered startup within recognized municipal administrative regions.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All source code, database structures, graphic assets, and text materials on the SLYDF web portal are the exclusive intellectual property of the fund and protected under institutional governance laws.

SLYDF upholds absolute integrity, fairness, and transparency across all stages of grant evaluation, peer review, and fund allocation.

1. Zero Tolerance for Conflict of Interest

Reviewers, board directors, and technical personnel must recuse themselves immediately if an applicant is a family member, former business partner, or close associate.

2. Merit-Based Evaluation Framework

All project proposals are graded objectively based on economic feasibility, social impact within Somaliland communities, innovation level, and administrative realism.

3. Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy

Offering, soliciting, or accepting gifts, kickbacks, or preferential treatment in exchange for scoring priority is strictly illegal and subject to immediate legal prosecution.

If you suspect fraud, corruption, abuse of power, or ethical breaches regarding any SLYDF grant cycle or evaluation panel member, report it safely and anonymously through our secure channel.
